Christopher Blanton (Blast)

Welcome to my portfolio from my time at Amanite Studios as a front-end developer! Amanite was a 1.12 Minecraft network that hosted many loved games like TurfWars and original games like Block Party. A proxy network is set up to host this code for anyone to checkout. The code is protected by an NDA, though with permission I can share it with anyone looking to review it. For GitHub access, please reach out with the email at the bottom of this page.

Block Party Arcade

Block Party is Amanite's take on Mario Party in Minecraft, complete with a working board and dice. Block Party Arcade is an endless rotation of the minigames from the full game. Much like a mixed arcade, compete with up to 4 friends in head-to-head, fast-paced games.

Lobby

The lobby is full of ambiance features like chickens and pots, and also contains the NPCs to go to other games, cosmetics, and crates.

Hide and Seek

Play with up to 8 friends in a game of hide and seek, played directly in the lobby. Seekers must find all the hiders before the time runs out. Hiders can taunt the seekers with colorful fireworks.

Balloon Quest

Amanite's take on Luigi's Balloon World, find balloons hidden around the lobby or hide balloons for others to find. Parkour to high up places or find a sneaky route to make your balloon difficult to pop!

Cosmetics

Many gadgets, mounts, and companions were written for Amanite's lobby. In this video are some of my favorites, including many of the multiplayer games like checkers and four in a row.

Crates

Amanite had 7 different crates. We had three year-round crates, as well as a seasonal crate that changed animations and rewards based on the time of year. In the video are all the animations, as well as a glimpse at the in-world UI system after a crate has been opened.

Feather

Feather is a fork of paper that hosts many NMS based utilties built directly into the server code. Most utilities were written by myself, while others were ported from Amanite's 1.12 fork
